Spooky Egg-Free Brownies

Perfect to pair with any Coffee Grl coffee!

These brownies are egg-free, chewy and gooey!

Pre-heat Oven 350 F degrees

Grease 9x9 pan (butter or nonstick spray)


1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/3 cup whole milk (or go vegan with a non-dairy milk!)

3 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 cup all purpose flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips (vegan chocolate chips work too!)

In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar. Then, add the milk and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Then, mix the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Spread the batter evenly into the greased pan and bake for approx. 25 minutes. Ovens will vary. You may want to turn the pan half way through the baking time.

Let cool for 30 minutes before you cut. Yields approx. 16 brownies.

*We added gummy snakes to the bowl for Halloween fun!
